• Job functions and duties assigned are as follows:

  Job functions and responsibilities

  The Piping WRP will assist in the supervision of field activities to assure optimum productivity and construction compliance. The Piping WRP will supervise the layout, assembly and installation of various sizes and types of piping sizes. The Piping WRP will study project specifications with Supervisor to plan sequencing (material acquisition & delivery) and schedule for pipe installation.

  Working closely with client representatives to ensure the quality compliance of each project. Plans, assigns, schedules and supervises the work of skilled and trade helpers' subordinates on repair and installation projects.

  Isometric, General Arrangement, P&ID, Redlines drawings, Material traceability, Mill test certificate verification for client approval, Fabrication and installation of A/G piping works at different areas.

  Plays an active role in the development of the safety and IIF culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed

  Remains knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures as well as performs assigned duties in a safe manner and, while supervising others, has responsibility for their safety and ensures that they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits

  Ensure the Contractor performs work in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, cost control estimates.

  Monitors 4WLH Scheduled activities and ensures equipment and manpower requirements are met to support the established completion dates

  Coordinates craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules including SIMOPS operations

  Reviews work assignments with craft supervisors and gives instruction relative to the methods and procedures that can be used The Piping WRP will assist in the supervision of field activities to assure optimum productivity and construction compliance. The Pipe WRP will supervise the layout, assembly and installation of various sizes and types of piping systems. Assist in staging material and necessary tools to execute each work activity. Monitor and organize welding machines, electrode, moving welding tools(potable electrode oven, welding plant) into position to assist pipe fittings.

• Must be familiar with:

  • RoK standards and labor legislation

  • Isometric, General Arrangement drawing, P&ID, Material traceability,

  • Piping fabrication, welding proficiency in position use of GMAW, SMAW, FCAW.

  • Hydrostatic testing, Cleaning Methods, fogging, line reinstatement.

  • Construction and mechanical equipment

  • Piping specification, material class (Carbon steel, stainless steel, Alloy) standard welding procedure
