Employment duties
1. Participates in:
- carrying out environmental expertise of feasibility studies, projects for expansion and reconstruction of existing production facilities, as well as new technologies and equipment being developed, and development of measures for the introduction of new equipment
- conduct of scientific and research works on the industrial wastewater treatment, the prevention of environmental pollution, the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere, the reduction or complete elimination of technological waste, the rational use of land and water resources
- verification of the conformity of the technical condition of the equipment with the requirements of environmental protection and rational nature management
- work of the commissions for the environmental impact assessment of the enterprise
2. Carries out the control:
- compliance with existing environmental legislation, instructions, standards and environmental standards in the company's subdivisions
- for observance of technological regimes of nature protection objects, analyzes their work
- for compliance of ecological standards and guidelines
- for the state of the environment in the region of the enterprise location
3. Engaged in drawing up the established reporting on the implementation of measures for the protection of the environment
4. Participates in internal corporate events of the Company
5. Follows the Business Ethics of the Company

Minimum requirements

- Higher education (or postgraduate) for the corresponding specialty
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Environmental Engineer in oil/gas
- Ability to work without close supervision in a high pressure environment
- Kazakh/Russian/English (fluent)

- systems of ecological standards and normative standards
- production and organizational structure of the enterprise and perspectives of its development
- technological processes and modes of the enterprises production operation
- order of the ecological assessment conducting of the pre-planned, pre projected and project materials
- methods of the ecological monitoring
- ecological legislation
- normative and methodical materials for protection of environment and rational usage of the nature resources
- normative and methodological materials on environmental protection and rational use of natural resources
- means for monitoring the compliance of the technical condition of the equipment of the enterprise
- requirements of environmental protection and rational nature management
- current environmental standards and standards
- the procedure for accounting and reporting on environmental protection
- means of computer technology, communications and communications
- rules and norms of labor protection
- advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources
- the fundamentals of the economy, the organization of production, labor and management
