Scope of work:

• To provide HSEQ leadership & advice to all teams. in order to ensure compliance with internal & external demands, delivery of HSEQ performance against KPI’s and goals, promote an effective safety culture and to ensure constant improvement in the effectiveness and implementation of the Company SMS.
• Promoting a strong, pro-active safety culture:
  1. Ensure the Company Safety Culture is promoted and maintained to the highest possible standards, in all locations.
  2. Advise on the prevention of injury to personnel, damage of equipment and further improvements in existing working methods.
  3. Active engagement with all employees on HSEQ related issues,
  4. Promoting open dialogue between all employees and departments on means to drive and improve, participating in & providing input to the HSEQ related meetings and inspections,
  5. Actively promoting safe working practices.
  6. Ensuring all government regulations concerning safety, environment and health are implemented in the execution of the project.
• HSEQ Performance and analysis:
  1. Develop, implement, and deliver HSEQ Plan that supports achievement of KPI’s, delivers local value and ensures continual improvement.
  2. Ensure HSEQ Reports and Performance data are collated effectively, accurate and submitted on-time to the Global HSEQ department.
  3. Taking part in Workplace Safety Reviews and observation programmes on a regular basis and reporting findings to the HSEQ Department
  4. Support application of local rules, company standards and best practices for hazard identification and risk management.
  5. Oversight of local compliance with legislative, operational, client-driven and internal standards
  6. Preparing agenda for regular meeting safety meetings with site management, and sub-contractors and maintaining a broad safety awareness on the TCO & FGP project.
• Conduct of audits and inspections
  1. Carry out survey and inspections on a regular basis in association with Lifting and Rigging Inspectors to ensure that safe working practices are in operation.
  2. Assist HSEQ Advisor in the training for all levels of employees to promote awareness of injury, fatality and occupational disease prevention and damage control.
  3. Conducting safety inspections on site as per procedure and schedule, and providing recommendations and information to the responsible supervisor or his designate.
  4. 1. Conducting joint safety inspections with the TCO or clients representatives within their areas of responsibility and assisting them in providing on the job safety training (tool box talks) for their employees when required.
     2. Providing tool box talks and training on all health and safety requirements on site including instructions on the use of safety equipment, personal protective equipment.
     3. Providing HSEQ induction awareness sessions and trainings for personnel and visitors.
     4. Investigate incidents, determine root cause and develop corrective actions.
     5. Liaising with Operations Managers/Supervisors to develop and implement Site and Project specific HSEQ Plans
     6. Prepare monthly statistics reports and submit to HSEQ Advisor
     7. Prepare regulatory required reports and ensure timely submission of reports to regional agencies.
     8. To checks and ensure first aid kits, sufficient PPE are available in stock and at site.
     9. Ensure welfare facilities of workers with legal requirements i.e. rest areas, canteen, drinking water and toiler facilities are adequately provided.
     10. To prepare the emergency evacuation plan for the site and to upgrade it in regular intervals
     11. Implementation of emergency plans with respect to different emergency situations like accident, fire or injures.
     12. Assist HSEQ Advisor with all HSEQ matters.

Requirements:

• Higher education;
• Work experience at least 5 years in similar positions
