An international Korean FMCG manufacturer is looking for a HR & GA Manager for their newly opening factory in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Job Summary
Recruit, screen, interview, or place individuals in a timely manner. Motivate employees and make employees committed. Perform other activities in multiple human resources areas. Provide day-to-day as well as future- looking guidance, coaching, and creative solutions that enhance individual and organizational performance.
Duties and responsibilities
· Recruitment and Termination
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork
- Search and make a contract with recruitment agencies
- Finalize labor contracts and compile relevant documents
- Registering employees' HR data to relevant government office and set up the company's HR
structure
- Manage termination process (resignation, retirement, lay-off, firing, mutual agreement etc.)
including exit interview
- Employee On-boarding and Off-boarding
· Training and Development
- Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees
- Establish HRD roadmap and set up the LMS
- Search and make a contract with contents providers
- Manage the delivery of L&D programs
- Provide specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills
· Performance Management & Evaluation
- Administer employee evaluation/incentive schemes
- Manage the evaluation process / performance review
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management
(e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Lead employee's goal setting process and help them make proper performance indicator/index
· Compensation & Benefit
- Manage attendance & delivery of payroll/benefits
- Manage an annual manpower plan and labor cost budget/record
- Search and make a contract with payroll agencies
- Establish and manage benefit standards by benchmarking competitors
- Manage employee promotion & rewards process
· HR Infra
- Manage and update the HR regulation/guidelines/SOP
- Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures
- Set-up and stabilize the HR system (payroll, HR data, evaluation, tax, social insurance, etc.)
- Collect and administer HR data / documents within legal requirements (using the HR system)
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession
Planning
- Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports
· Industrial Relation
- Settlement of labor disputes
- Handle the grievance procedures and HSE (health, safety, and environment)
- Implement the employee survey regularly
- Manage employee relations questions and issues
· General Affairs and support Expatriates, etc.
- Planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating general affairs processes and activities
- Manage employee travel & accommodation, procurement (assets, inventory, vehicle maintenance, etc.), employee equipment (uniforms, ID, company rule book, etc.)
- Manage VISA and relevant permits, housing, etc. for expatriates
- Communicate with / Report to HR HQ regularly about main issues
- Internal client relationship management (internal activities)
- Benchmark other company's HR practice
- Build and manage good relationship with relevant government office
Qualifications
- Experience
- 5 to 10 years of HR&GA experience related to FMCG industry factories
- Skills
- Negotiate as the organizational authority and established expert to help the organization by obtaining consensus between two or more internal or external parties who may have different interests.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
- Language : English Advanced
- Knowledge
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, performance management, compensation & benefits, labor relations, negotiation, personnel information systems, and general affairs.
- Other Requirements
- Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with little direct supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent listening and negotiating skills with the ability to size up people
- A strong work ethic and perseverance, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude
- Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizing skills
Education
- Required : Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred : Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR or a related field
Working conditions
- This position is full time regular job and is supposed to 9 am – 6 pm
- Work location is Almaty province and can have business trip if necessary
