Chemical Technician – Downstream / Water Treatment

Objectives
-
Monitor and support chemical treatment programs (water, oil and gas treatment) through daily activities.
-
Partner with technical personnel to ensure effective application of chemicals.

Collect and manage data effectively, promptly identifying and addressing parameters that are out of specification in coordination with Chemical Engineers.

Conduct routine sampling and analysis.
-
Perform audits of chemical injection facilities to ensure proper functionality and operation.
-
Monitor and verify the operation of chemical feed systems.
-
Support monitoring and management of chemical consumption for various applications.
Expectations
-
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Engineering or Applied Chemistry.
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refining, Petrochemical, Steam Generation and/or Industrial Water Treatment plants.

Prior experience in unit operations or a laboratory would be advantageous.

Strong English skills, both written and verbal.

Availability for a rotational schedule 28 days on / 28 days off in Kazakhstan.

Possessing a valid driver's license and relevant driving experience.
