We are looking for a Senior React Native developer who is interested in building a performant mobile app for both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with teams and colleagues responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

You’ll be someone who thrives working in dynamic environments where you’re trusted with a level of autonomy to work with your team to define and implement solutions across React Native and Graph that are scalable and performant.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in building large scale projects using React Native
• You have solid experience with React Native and TypeScript
• You have good experience with the native environments (XCode, Android Studio, Cocoapods, Gradle)
• You have decent experience with a few libs and frameworks (React, Detox, Yarn)
• A clear understanding of code organization and structuring, single responsibility and shared components
• Experience developing GraphQL platforms to tie together multiple APIs
• Familiarity with state/data management libraries (Apollo)
• Experience in performance considerations, optimisation and security at a GraphQL level
• Experience releasing apps onto the App Store / PlayStore / CodePush
• Upper-Intermediate English level for direct communication with client

We’d be excited if you have experience with:

• A deep understanding Apollo client/server and exposure to Express
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows
• Knowledge of general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Experience with mentoring/managing other app developers

Responsibilities:

• Work with other senior engineers to architect and design backend software that meets the needs of the business
• Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, UX and DevOps
• You’ll be creating, adding features and fixing bugs on an existing app
• Perform fair and considered peer code reviews
• Write bucket loads of good quality, testable code (and tests)
