Huawei Moscow Research Center

Theory Research Group is open for young scientists (postdoc, Ph.D. graduation in 2019-2022) with backgrounds in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science to join our team.

Main research directions: Computational optimization, Graph theory, Numerical methods, Machine Learning, Mathematical Modeling in Physics.

We dedicated to the research and development of basic communications theories, supporting future product development with advanced theories, resolving pain points of academia's concern, searching for possible solutions, and exploring possible technological innovation fields.

Our research is not limited to communications products, but may focus on a wide range of fundamental problems, such as artificial intelligence, computer technology, and semiconductor technology.

Responsibilities

• Explore cutting-edge technologies
• Independently undertake part of a research project
• Output research reports, patents, and papers

Key Qualifications

• PhD (Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science) with graduation in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022
• At least one computer programming language, preferably Python, C/C++
• Interested in research projects, self-driven, innovative
• Creative and able to collaborate with other team members
• Good communication, writing and presentation skills in English
• Experience in project development is preferred
