We are looking for Software Engineer with background in optimization to join our team. With a motivated squad of 15 professionals we focus on MedSpace - the innovative online roster application for medical specialists, physician assistants, support staff and general practitioners. We are active in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France - a niche with 100,000 professionals where a lot is happening. This dynamic creates opportunities, improvements and innovations.

Duties:

As optimization modeling engineer you will be a part of a MedSpace Development team. You will be working closely with ICT engineers as well as Support team to deliver best-in-class automatic scheduling software. We expect that you bring your mathematical skills and knowledge into practical solutions. Your scope of work would be:

• Enhancement of optimization models, design and development of decision-support tools
• Analysis of new cases, formalization of requirements and subsequent implementation
• Consulting clients/colleagues on the use of automated planning facilities
• Main technological stack is AIMMS / Java / HCL Notes

Requirements:

• Higher education in computer science, applied mathematics or similar field.
• Knowledge of optimization methods, computational complexity of algorithms, understanding of classes of optimization problems and their specifics
• Good knowledge of at least one programming language
• At least intermediate level of English
• Good communication skills
• Relevant experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Ready to relocate to the Netherlands
