Deloitte is seeking a Monitoring Engineer to join the CIS Technology Services (IT) group within the Internal Client Services department at the Moscow office.

The role will involve:

• Participate in 24/7 (high availability, 99.99 percent) system creation and support
• Set up all levels of monitoring–hardware, network, middleware, application
• Understand possible faults that can occur during system operations and implement preventive measures–preventive monitoring, etc.
• Capture and analyze fault statistics, detect the greatest problem place in the system
• Implement automatic healing logic, which makes a decision about the health of the monitored system

Requirements:

• Experience in monitoring system setup procedures (SCOM, Cisco Prime, Cacti)
• Experience in monitoring at least 100 servers
• Three years of experience in operations and monitoring support
• Understanding of how 24/7 available systems are implemented and how they are operated
• Practical knowledge of network equipment monitoring
• Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux-based systems monitoring
• Scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash
• Experience in virtualized infrastructure monitoring and exploitation–virtual machines, storages, and networks

Additional skills (will be an advantage):

• Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS systems
• Experience in the implementation and support of high availability systems

• Good communication skills in English
