• Is the lead worker in the sewer network inspection operation, personally performing the more difficult and complex duties, and may assume duties of the supervisor as necessary.
• Serves as lead worker over other sewer network workers; schedules, assigns, and monitors work; trains less experienced workers; ensures completion of assigned work and provides technical assistance to staff.

• Performs a variety of inspection operation, maintenance and customer services work on the sewer network system including Foul Sewer network and Ground Surface Water network.
• Flushes and clears collection systems; operates jetting and vacuum cleaner vehicles, applies foams or other chemicals to de-root or de-grease.
• Sets up and adjusts video camera and equipment (robot-towed CCTV, push rod camera or integrated manhole inspection system); operates camera inspection; maintains records and logs of inspection work; reads and interprets plans, maps, and prints.
• Responds to customer complaints, determines source of problem, clears lines or reports work needed, and advises customer if problem is not the operator’s responsibility.
• Performs permit required confined space entries and operates all kind of network and equipment inspection and maintenance (manholes, connections, gullies, valves, discharge, …).
• Installs, maintains, and repairs sewer systems including meter installations, and related structures; performs grounds maintenance duties.
• Prepares and maintains a variety of computerized and written records and reports related to work performed and provides GIS field support for map updates.
• Observes safe work methods and safety precautions related to the work; develops, approves, and submits traffic control plans to appropriate agencies; assists at traffic control sites as necessary; operates pipe location equipment; uses appropriate safety devices and equipment.
• Estimates and secures tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete assignments; obtains quotes from vendors and creates purchase requisitions for tools and supplies in accordance with operating budget.
• Stands duty on a rotational basis and may work outside of regular work hours as necessary, including weekends and holidays; required to respond within a 30-minute time frame when on duty status.

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering or technical degree desirable
• 5 years’ experience in a similar position in sewer maintenance and construction work
• Knowledge of equipment, techniques, and procedures involved in the maintenance and repair of sewer systems and related facilities and equipment.
• Good written skills and fluent speaker in English.
• Working place Samarkand region.
