The regional procurement organization is currently expanding the team. Now in Ukraine we are looking for a natural-born negotiator, who will oversee buying of indirects in Ukraine and part of Eastern Europe.

Role: Buyer, Indirect

Location: Stasi (Poltava area) or Kyiv

Purpose of the role:

• Buy and negotiate the local specific requirements for materials and services primarily for Ukraine, but supporting Russia and Kazakhstan (Contracts $100MM and below).
• Drives leverage of the buy, involving Regional Commodity Leads as necessary.
• Negotiates agreements that properly address risk and meet business demands at the lowest total costs.
• Ensures use of Procurement policies, procedures, best practices, systems and tools
• Acts as the link between local stakeholders and the rest of the Procurement organization

Responsibilities:

• Develops and negotiate contracts and spot orders that capture advantage and minimize risks.
• Works to understand business requirements and identifies opportunities and suppliers to meet demands.
• Understands and follows sourcing policies, procedures, tools, practices, and systems to procure efficiently and effectively.
• Develops partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and drive common objectives.
• Develops good working relations with suppliers to obtain competitive advantage
• Resolves quality, service, supply and invoicing issues with suppliers

Requirements:

• Master's degree in economics / law or technical discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate environment within supply chain or finance function
• Knowledge of sourcing policies, tools and best practices would be an advantage
• Strong drive to execute and implement efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills
• Creativity, ingenuity, inventiveness
• Ability to handle conflict
• Good planning and organization skills
• High ethical standards
• Fluency in English
