Project Manager (проектный менеджер на контракт по производству винто-рулевых колонок)

Relocation to Primorsky region, Bolshoy Kamen

Role Summary:

Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for coordination on all contract related activities and resources to achieve delivery against all contract milestones and requirements, margin and customer satisfaction.

Owns the commercial and technical issues of the contract. Serves the main point of contact with customer as well as with technology team in GE on all matters.

This is a key role for a project manager with a proven track record of managing complex commercial contracts with a multi-cultural team of supply chain and commercial staff within matrix organizations in JV setup.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the project team to assemble SeaJet VRK propulsion unit.
• Interface with all internal departments of the Company, the company's partners and vendors, owners, regulatory agencies, and members of the general business community.
• Monitor and control the reporting systems and procedures established by the company for evaluating project results as to cost, schedule, quality, and client relationship keeping informed of all such activities and performance.
• Supervises, directs, and motivates the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty of assigned projects. Ensures customer satisfaction during and at final project completion.
• Develop and monitor schedules, work break down structures, manage daily disruptions, and ensure the project moves forward safely on schedule and results in a profit for the company.
• Analyzes plans, contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements. Follows up with appropriate management to assure understanding and satisfaction of job scope.
• Manages the development of project plans in advance of project activity assuring effective execution by the Project Team.
• Creates and manages contractual correspondence and documents with the customer, including purchase orders, force majeure, change orders, and other binding documents.
• Ensures best value for all needed project materials negotiated.
• Ensures that products meet the requirements of the contract and all applicable regulatory agencies, foreign and domestic.
• Utilizes financial and monthly forecasting to manage and contain costs.
• Prepares or oversees preparation of progress billings, pursues timely payments from the customer, and authorizes payments to material suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Engineering
• PMP Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in shipbuilding companies
• Fluent in English and Russian languages (writing, reading, speaking, listening)

Would be considered as an advantage

• First-hand knowledge / experience in shipbuilding / marine industry would be a plus
• Experience in international company and participation in a production/ product launch will be a plus
• Knowledge of manufacturing management, including production operations, inventory controls, costing systems, financial reporting measures? engineering and quality experience is preferred
