Position name: Junior Accountant (Trainee)

Location: Kakhovka (Cargill oil-extraction plant)

Position purpose:

Great Opportunity for young-graduates to get first working experience in big international company with opportunity to develop in financial function throughout organization.

The primary role of junior accountant is to provide an accurate accounting support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

The Junior Accountant reports to Accounting Supervisor and will be responsible for the full function accounting duties pertaining to the business – debtors, creditors, plant accounting tasks, project reporting. To be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant’s day-to-day work.

Target responsibilities person will perform after thorough induction program during which we will teach and coach on the below:

• Processing primary accounting documents
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects
• Plant accounting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets.
• Process and capture month-end journals.
• Prepare draft monthly financial statements and reports as required.
• Calculate and issue financial analysis of the financial statements
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to Management
• Work with Project Manager to provide accurate Project reporting.

Requirements:

Fluent in English - must

Advanced MS Office user, in particular MS Excel.

Proven ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and deliver on challenging deadlines

Proven motivational skills

Proven agility, ability to deliver results under conditions of uncertainty, ambiguity and/or rapid change
