• Project Description:

  We are looking for a senior Software developer to join and enforce our team in St. Petersburg.
  Starting from late 1970th our US-based client was pioneering software development for the companies who's industry is mining. The software we develop works not only in offices but also it is on-boarded on large variety of career tracks and other special vehicles driving, moving and drilling in underground mines and open pits worldwide.
  Developing and supporting our client's products requires technical people who excel in facing up to challenges, help removing roadblocks, and enjoy working as part of a continually improving team with a focus on quality and usability.
  Scope of work and our current deadlines require a sharp technical person, that will be able to get up to speed quickly and become a productive part of the team.

• Responsibilities:

  • Develop new software modules, maintain and extend existing modules
  • Develop proof of concepts
  • Develop unit tests for existing and new code.
  • Develop automation tests and simulation tools to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Perform analysis, estimate work, and create and update basic-level software architecture and design documentation
  • Assist with manual software testing as needed

• Skills:

  Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience developing software using C# language
  • Technologies & packages:
  o Winforms, WPF, WCF.
  o Nice to have: Composite UI, Infragistics, WiX, Telerik
  • Good Knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of design patterns, best practices and common industry standards
  • Communication technologies: TCP/UDP/IP, Web Services, etc.
  • Experience with analysis and elicitation of requirements
  • Solid understanding of real-time distributed application development on .NET
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or GIT
  • Knowledge of software testing practices and activities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to details
  • Good written and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively interact (both verbally and in written form) with remote development team.
  
  Nice-to-have Requirements:
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Web Development;
  • Proficiency and proven experience with HTML, CSS and other common design languages;
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and responsive mobile-first web applications;
  • Proficiency and proven experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript;
  • Experience with JavaScript Web UI frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix logic, communication, performance and other nonfunctional problems related to browser-server interaction;
