We arre looking for a good engineer in pulp and paper industry with strong knowledge of automatization process. You will be responsible for design, implement, commission and maintain advanced process control and real time optimization solutions in the pulp and paper industry

Location - Syktyvkar, 1-2 year contract.

Responsibilities:

• Perform at a senior engineering level in projects; normally as Lead Engineer, or performing as a highly specialized Process and Advanced Control engineer.
• Provide project engineering expertise effectively in multi-project environment; multitasking essential.
• Execute projects as a lead application engineer:
  • Define scope of work
  • Develop application specifications
  • Ensure technical implementation in terms of completeness and quality for all assigned project team members.
  • Provide technical guidance and training for project assigned team members.
  • Provide guidance and training to customer’s mill operations, engineering and maintenance personnel for performance management. (Development of best practices for mill staff)
• Responsible for performance of customer process (projects and support of existing installations), provide continued expert support for customer’s sustained performance improvement results.
• Provide extensive contact with customers for mill manufacturing performance improvement during the life cycle of the installed systems. (Mill management, operations management, process operators, process engineers, technical services, automation and maintenance staff)
• Act as a technical advisor to the project manager, reporting on progress and performance of the work activities and system.
• Identifies and communicates scope changes to the project manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of best practices throughout the group
• Contribute to the development of technologies and applications to improve system performance, customer value add and group efficiency.
• Perform other duties typical to this position as assigned

• Education: B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Control Engineering or P&P Engineering Technology. (Process expertise)

Experience:

• Five (5) years’ experience in advanced process controls engineering. (Regulatory, advanced regulatory and advanced control technologies (MPC, RTO, Non Linear Control, Properties predictors/Software sensors)).
• Experience in distributed control systems, mill information systems
• Experience in scripting languages, Matlab,
• Experience in frequency domain analysis, control tuning
• Five (or) years’ experience in pulp and paper industry, especially in pulp mill recovery line.
• Experience in process performance analysis, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Experience mill process operations, mill engineering and maintenance.
• English - Intermediate
