EUROCAPE NEW ENERGY Ltd is involved in the development, the financing, the construction and the operation of wind and solar farms in Europe. www.eurocape.eu. You like challenges, you like working in a team in an international environment: join us to support the construction of the biggest wind farm in Ukraine (500 MW) and to acquire a tremendous experience in the construction of high voltage 330 kV line, of a set up substation, of a power plant commissioning.

Starting date : June/July 2018

Duration : 1.5 year, with 1 year extension (extension of the project with around 100 additional turbines)

Location : Melitopol, Ukraine

Language : English (fluent), Russian (would be much appreciated)

Academic back ground : Master's degree from a French engineering school or equivalent degree in engineering.

Computer skill : Strong IT skills particularly in MS Word & Excel.

Experience : HSE Management in the construction of multi-discipline large projects [energy field, building, plant…] (minimum € 50 Million) with various subcontractors, minimum 2 year experience. Experience of manning an HSE team (x3 persons). Excellent communication skills (written, verbal). Experience with HSE management for international projects regarding crane works, heavy transport and electrical High voltage works. Familiar with OHSAS 18001 certification.

Tasks :

• Verify, update, approve and apply the Heath Safety Environmental & Social Performance Plan (HSSE & SP Plan).
• Organize yearly review and signature of the HSSE&SP Plan with all Project’s stakeholders
• Prepare, organize and provide a site induction for all workers on the site, monitor validity of safety inductions and repeat yearly as a minimum.
• Organize specific sensitization trainings for teams and subcontractors to raise risk awareness (electrical, work at height, driving…)
• Validate all the lock-out demands from subcontractors in coordination with the site team.
• To select & order, under the name of EuroCape, any HSSE solutions as required by law or regulation.
• To arrange and contract in the name of EuroCape with Third Party Subcontractors for any corrective measures which may be required and oversee the proper performance of such measures by such Third Party Subcontractors.
• To perform visual control during the yearly inspection that the safety instructions and equipment are correctly installed in the Installations.
• To inform EuroCape Management in case of an accident involving injury on site.
• To inform the necessary administrative bodies in case of any dysfunction needing to be declared.

Context :

• The project was developed by EuroCape during the last 8 years. The complete project documentation was issued by the EuroCape team. The team will remain available during the project construction.
• There will be 2 major contractors [i.e. 2 main contract] to execute and manage. Those 2 contracts are already negotiated and signed.
  • The turbine supplier (American / German) : Supply, deliver, transport, erect and commission the wind turbines.
  • The Balance of Plant contractor (Polish / Ukrainian) : Supply, construct and commission all infrastructure (HV line, substation, MV lines, Foundations, Roads…)
• The General site HSE plan is already done according to IFC and international standard.
• Peak of workers (from subcontractors) on the construction site : 600 pers.

Remuneration and other :

• Depending of the experience.
