GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Product Owner (Cloud\Virtualization Platforms) to join its Kyiv office.

Our client is a world-leading provider of telecom equipment, solutions and services to mobile and fixed network operators and telecom providers all over the world. We are working on a long-term program to build end-to-end solution for IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).

Imagine yourself a company that requires data centre capabilities for daily operations. Ultimately you are facing few challenges:

• Buying, maintaining and serving hardware is costly
• Software Licenses (at least OS) are adding cost as well
• Scaling up or down takes a lot of time and resources involved

In the same time you obviously have concerns about giving away your essential data to the 3rd-party, and still want to be able to access and control your business applications.

The goal is to solve these problems in partnership with local Telcos by providing end-to-end OSS solution designed specifically for IaaS. The solution makes end user able to define, order and provision in real time:

• Own data centers
• Virtual machines with required memory and processing power
• Virtual networks
• Applications installed on virtual machines

Our solution is being built based on existing OSS products, 3rd-party products and new applications designed for IaaS.

The current GlobalLogic team includes 50+ engineers working on all of the components of solution to develop new features end-to-end.

• Experience at managing requirements in Agile methodologies
• Experience at using tools for team collaboration (e.g. Jira, Confluence etc.)
• Because the role requires a high degree of internal customer interaction, the candidate must have superior communication and influencing skills, an understanding of business process and systems and the ability to organize and prioritize end user issues/requests
• Understanding of virtualization platforms (KVM, Openstack)

• Business Analyst, Development or QA background for Back-end
• Experience with Private cloud solutions

• Work with Back-end development team to ensure that they understand the vision for the product andor features
• Break down the high-level features descriptions to detailed and manage the product backlog with more detailed epics and user stories
• Work closely with the Product Area Owner in product increment planning, release planning, team velocity and prioritization of backlog according to business value and customer needs
• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders, providing product increment demo and answering product related questions
