As part of our safer recruitment process, we will be conducting thorough online searches, extensive background checks, and collecting references.

We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to oversee the administrative aspects of our school's human resources department and submission of mandatory state reports. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in managing HR paperwork and maintaining comprehensive records for our entire staff body. Additionally, the HR Specialist will be tasked with handling immigration paperwork for our expatriate staff members, which includes managing visas, work permits, and residency permissions.

Type of contract: 1 year contract with mutual prolongation

Start date: April 2024

Main Responsibilities:

1. keeps records of the School staff in accordance with the unified forms of primary accounting documentation;

3.2. hires staff, transfers them to another position and dismisses them in accordance with Labour legislation, regulations and orders of the Head of the enterprise, as well as other established staff documentation;

3.3. forms and maintains personal files of staff, makes changes to them related to work;

3.4. prepares the necessary materials for qualification, certification, competition commissions and recommending a staff member for awarding;

3.5. keeps records of business trips and vacations of staff, monitors the preparation and adherence to the schedules of regular vacations and record of necessary documents;

3.6. prepares documents after the expiration of the established terms of current storage for storing in the archives;

3.7. monitors the state of labour discipline in the divisions of the organization and compliance by employees with the rules of internal labour regulations.

3.8. enters information about the quantitative, qualitative composition of staff and their movement, as well as other information about staff in such data bank as ISAMS, 1c, in ‘Staff’ section, NOBD, and on the Enbek.kz portal; monitors its timely updating;

3.9. monitors payroll accounting and registers the corresponding weekly changes;

3.10. maintains the SCR, unified register of School staff, in accordance with the standards of international British schools;

3.11. obtains the IIN for foreign staff;

3.12 collects documents and support with visa matters; registers passports of foreign staff and their family members in the Department of Internal Affairs of Astana;

3.13. draws up and submits the established reports in a timely manner;

3.14. prepares and provides, upon request, the necessary staff documentation, including, but not limited to, certificates from the place of work and completed workbooks;

3.15. makes, extends the compulsory insurance contracts against accidents in the performance of work duties for staff;

3.16. provides support to Medical staff in matters of voluntary medical insurance for local staff.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of labor law legislation and regulations, as well as a thorough knowledge of the requirements governing the stay of foreign nationals in Kazakhstan.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Creative mindset with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and health and safety guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A person with a higher professional education and +2 years work experience in the HR sphere is eligible to be appointed to the position of HR Specialist.
