Company Overview:
As the CEO, you will be a part of an existing offline holding company that is expanding into the online e-commerce and fintech space. The company has a diverse portfolio of businesses, including online marketplaces, financial services, and e-commerce retailers in the agriculture and related sectors.

Job Summary:
As the CEO, your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee the successful launch and management of various online products within specified timelines. You will be responsible for defining the overall strategy, building and managing high-performing teams, establishing efficient development and collaboration processes, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Define the strategic direction for each product and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Develop plans, roadmaps, and milestones to guide the successful implementation of each product;
  • Team Building and Management: Design the team structure, recruit and hire talented professionals, provide training and development opportunities, and create a motivating work environment that fosters high performance and employee engagement;
  • Development Process Establishment: Establish efficient development processes that promote sustainable delivery, maximize KPIs, and ensure timely product launches. Implement agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices;
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Foster productive collaboration between the development team and the business team. Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively align technology solutions with business requirements;
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Set and achieve KPIs related to time to market, customer satisfaction (NPS), defect density, defect leakage, team member satisfaction (eNPS), uptime, and product conversion metrics;
  • Market Analysis and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in products and services.


Qualifications:

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a technology company, preferably in the e-commerce or fintech (or related industry);
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrated success in delivering products on time and on budget, with a strong focus on achieving business goals;
  • Team Management: Proven experience in building and managing high-performing teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management;
  • E-commerce and Software Development: Deep understanding of e-commerce principles, online marketplaces, and software development processes. Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus;
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization;

Working Conditions:

  • Registration according to the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  • Schedule: full time 5/2 from 08:30 to 17:30;
  • All flight and accommodation costs are paid by the company;
