The IT-company Andersen invites an experienced QA Engineer to work on a large-scale FinTech Trading project for one of our customers based on Cyprus.

The customer is the award-winning FinTech Trading Platform and Trading Service provider. Its portfolio of regulated financial institutions and fintech companies is backed by a global team of 700+ professionals with headquarters in the UK and 22 offices worldwide. As a leading online trading provider for FX, commodities, precious metals, and CFD, the firm facilitates an estimated monthly trading volume of USD 100B by retail investors, traders, and institutions. With its Technology Hub in Cyprus, the firm offers a dynamic environment for creative minds.

The project is the creation of Client’s personal account which allows client to manage personal information and trading accounts, deposit and withdraw funds, participate in a referral program and review various reports. Also creation of Backoffice application for firm’s support team to allow them to help their clients.

Stack: API/ Message brokers, CI/CD, Agile, SQL,Git

Responsibilities:

- Conducting functional testing of all parts of the application (Mobile/Web client through UI, backend through API and Message brokers).

- Keeping test documentation up to date (test cases, test suites, test plans).

- Being responsible for the quality of the documentation delivered.

- Participating in sprint planning to ensure quality of requirements and possible extension of requirements to ensure testability.

- Participation in regression testing of RC builds.

- Communicating with the team (developers, devOps, QA automation engineers).

- Performing any activities required to ensure quality assurance.

Requirements:

- Commercial experience as a QA Engineer (Web/Mobile applications) for 2+ years.

- Experience in testing backend (API/ Message brokers).

- Understanding of CI/CD system (Jenkins).

- Experience in Agile methodologies.

- Experience in requirements testing.

- Understanding of client-server interaction (http).

- Strong SQL skills.

- Ability to work in Git.

- Level of English - Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with different sniffers (Charles, Fiddler).

- Experience with prepare/configuration/deploy test environments.
