As a Solution Architect at our software company, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing effective software solutions for our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to understand client requirements, evaluate technology options, and create architectural designs that align with their business goals.

You will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and understand their software requirements. Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, functional specifications, and technical constraints. Translate requirements into a comprehensive architectural design.
• Solution Design: Design scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that address the identified requirements. Evaluate technology options, frameworks, and architectures suitable for the project. Create high-level and low-level architectural designs, including system components, interfaces, and data flows.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Assist in defining coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation adheres to the defined architecture.
• System Integration: Identify integration points and dependencies with existing systems or third-party applications. Design integration strategies and patterns to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability. Collaborate with the integration team to implement and test the integrations.
• Performance and Scalability: Assess and address performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and capacity planning requirements. Optimize system architecture to achieve high performance, scalability, and fault tolerance. Conduct performance testing and tuning activities as needed.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the software solutions adhere to industry-standard security practices and compliance requirements. Identify potential security risks and design appropriate security measures. Collaborate with security teams to implement security controls and conduct regular security assessments.
• Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design documents, diagrams, and technical specifications. Communicate the architecture effectively to stakeholders, development teams, and clients. Provide technical presentations and demonstrations when required.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in software architecture, design patterns, and technology trends. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in OOP languages and related frameworks. Share your expertise with the team and contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or a similar role in the software industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in at least one object-oriented programming (OOP) language.
• Familiarity with various software architectures, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Solid understanding of system integration, performance optimization, and security principles.
• Experience with designing and architecting OLAP and OLTP systems.
• Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and technologies, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
• Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices, including scalability, availability, and cost optimization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS Solution Architect) are a plus.
