- Responsibilities:
Collection of financial data from the mining department\production factories and plants
Pit financial model update for budget and forecasts, incl. analysis of the repair schedule of mining equipment, analysis of the repair work of factories
Monthly closes with variance analysis for production costs
Updating the financial model of the open pit for the entire life of the mine
Preparation of a report on the mine budget in the form of a presentation to senior management on the implementation of the financial plan.
Updating analytic reports in IBM Cognos
Creation of a database for the analysis of historical production costs with the further construction of a presentation for management. Power BI and Oracle skills will be a plus
Preparation of periodic and annual reports in accordance with the orders of the company's management.Assistance in medium and long-term planning.
Active participation in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
Assistance in identifying the cost center and preparation of a cost permit
Assistance in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial and operating budgets / forecasts for management in accordance with established schedules and forms, incl. when analyzing deviations.
Assistance to the management of the Company in the implementation of projects of financial and operational IT applications.
Assistance to the management of the Company in obtaining informative reports on costs, inventory turnover, equipment use, profitability and cash flow forecast.
Assistance in the preparation of cost-benefit analyzes, the adoption and coordination of cost-cutting measures that contribute to the growth of the profitability of the enterprise.
Collection of financial data from the mining department / concentrator
Assistance in evaluating the cost effectiveness and production processes/procedures of the mine and concentrator.
Examining, reviewing and correcting financial reports and comments provided by mining departments, concentrator department and departments based on variance analysis.
Preparing and reporting on mine/concentrator budgets and forecasts, and reporting to senior management on the execution of the financial plan.
Constant interaction with production departments.
Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, within the framework of their professional competence
• Higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant specialty.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or economics, preferably in the mining or manufacturing industry.
• Fundamental knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
