We're looking for someone who's got an IT Engineering or Technical degree under their belt, and has spent at least one year doing systems administration. But it's not all about the tech skills - we want someone who's a sports enthusiast and loves the spirit of sport.

And one last thing - you'll need to be pretty good at English (if you can speak French too, that's a bonus!).

Responsibilities:

• You'll be the go-to person for installing, setting up, and updating software for our cash register systems and server infrastructure.

• You'll also be the one keeping our cash register systems running smoothly all the time.

  Got a problem with the cash register systems, servers, or other equipment? No worries, you'll be on it, tracking down and fixing any issues that come up.

• You'll also be in charge of keeping all the data used in our cash register systems safe and secure. And just to be on the safe side, you'll create and keep backups of all the data used in our cash register systems and servers.

• Next up, you'll plan and carry out regular maintenance of our equipment, which could involve anything from replacing or updating components to doing repairs.

• You'll also be the one teaching our store employees how to use the cash register systems and other equipment.

• And you won't be doing all this alone - you'll be working closely with other IT specialists and departments in the store to keep our system in tip-top shape.

• You'll also get to be part of projects to update and expand our store's network infrastructure.

• And last but not least, you'll put together reports on how our equipment is doing and come up with ideas on how we can make our system even better.

Must have skills:

• Practical skills of working with servers on various operating systems (Windows server, Linux).

• Knowledge and experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Vmware).

• Databases: Understanding and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Scripting languages: Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerSell).

• Understanding of POS (Point of Sale) systems: Knowledge of the functionality and operation of cash register systems and related software.

• Knowledge of standards and legislation: Understanding the requirements for cash systems and payment transactions, as well as local legislation on fiscalization.

• Payment security: Knowledge and experience in applying security measures for payment systems, including protection against payment card fraud.

• TroubleShooting and Repair Skills: Ability to quickly identify and fix problems with POS systems, including hardware failures and software problems.

• Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems: Set Retail will be big plus.

• Knowledge of network protocols: Basic understanding and applying basic network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, etc.

• IT security: Knowledge of information security methods and technologies, including encryption, access control, network security monitoring, etc.

• Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents: Ability to quickly respond to security incidents, analyze them, determine the source of the threat, eliminate the consequences and prevent the recurrence of incidents in the future.

• Data Security: Knowledge and application of data protection techniques, including database backup and recovery.

• ITIL/ITSM: Knowledge of IT service management standards such as ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library).

• Project Management: Ability to plan, coordinate and control IT projects from start to finish.

• Supplier and partner relationship management: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with external IT suppliers and partners, as well as manage contracts and agreements at the SLA (Service Level Agreement) level.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding and ability to apply the laws and regulations that affect the operations of the IT department, including data protection and software licensing requirements.

• Creation of technical documentation: Skills in the development of clear and understandable technical documentation, including specifications, operation manuals and maintenance procedures.
