We are now looking the replacement for Sr Tax Advisor in corporative Tax function.

Responsibilities:

• Lead communication with the tax lawyers supporting on-site tax audits;
• Collect information, investigate the circumstances, develop defense position for requests of the tax authorities within on-site tax audits;
• Manage development and maintenance of the internal legal documents such as tax policies and position papers;
• Advise business on tax implications of their activities, help finding most efficient solution;
• Prepare and review tax provisions of third-party and intra-group agreements, including complex business development transactions (asset purchase, contract manufacturing and IP rights transfer).
• Support Abbott and Veropharm business in Russia with the expertise in the tax law;
• Review TP documentation prepared by consultants, discuss the results, verify facts with business divisions;
• Calculate annual TP bonuses to improve profitability.

Success Profile:

• Higher education, preferably Law or Finance degrees;
• 5 years of practical experience in tax consulting and legal work in a BIG4/tax law firm/in-house;
• Fluent English;
• Fluent user of law databases, e.g. Consultant Plus, Garant;
• Experience in preparation of tax positions/appeals is mandatory;
• Pharma/FMCG manufacturing and distribution experience;
• Basic understanding of the accounting principles;
• Transfer pricing knowledge;
• Being good with numbers;
• Project management skills;
• Advanced computer user: MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
