Main role: responsible for Direct Procurement (DP) (materials for Plant operation) / Indirect Procurement (IP)(purchasing of the services, works, equipment and supply of materials/components) activities in Schneider Electric plant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the tender phase, to build solutions with suppliers, ensure preliminary negotiations, collect commodity purchases prices to better define price of supplies of goods and services.
• Optimize all procurements (quality, cost and delivery) in compliance with the procurement policies of and with the customer’s contracts, in order to keep or improve the margin and manage the risks.
• Keep strong focus on reactivity: realism and pragmatism must drive his/her conduct for operational efficiency.
• Responsible for all purchases involved in the project until the end of the "contractual obligations of providers" with a specific focus on risk management, assess supplier risks.
• Manage on site services, Legal and Security agreement with relevant suppliers, ensures Customers satisfaction.
• Visit supplier facilities/offices for critical / key suppliers and investigates supplier's ability to meet quantity, delivery, quality, technical requirements, and costs reduction.
• Conduct legal and ethical business relationships with suppliers.
• Track performance, negotiates prompt corrective action to address any non-conformity from suppliers.
• Define and report information through a commodities dashboard
• Keep an actuated vision of local supplier markets possibilities, costs and lead times.
• Develop, communicate and implement long-term purchasing plans including supplier development, contracting strategies, inventory management, cost management, quality improvement, procurement systems, measurements and market access programs.
• Facilitate the implementation of process improvements
• Evaluate the effectiveness of action plans and recommends corrective / preventive action plans
• Undertake “Team Leader” and “Team player” roles for Potencial plant procurement function ;
• Coordinate and manage the team of buyers;
• To be responsible for the results of the team, focus on the productivity, and KPIs;
• Implement procurement process in accordance with purchasing policy, internal (company) polices, global vision and strategies;
• Integrate, cooperate and build strong relations with Plant stakeholders;

Requirements

• Higher education
• Experience in purchasing for an international company
• Purchasing Functional competencies (Cost, Supplier Mgt, Cost analysis, Market analysis)
• Experienced in legal& financial aspects, risk analysis, contracts setting
• Experience in managing multicultural / cross functional teams
• Business knowledge and trade-off (operations, standardization, service vs cost)
• Fluent Russian, English – good level (oral & correspondence)
• Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, proactive, structural approach
• Knowledge and skills: any procurement applications, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point)
