SANOFI UKRAINE, a global leader in healthcare, announces the position of Medical Scientific Liaison.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• With the Marketing Department, co-develops opinion leaders strategy.
• Be the trusted scientific partner to key external experts in Diabetes by conducting appropriate scientific information to enhance the understanding of the scientific and medical value of Sanofi products.
• Execute on stakeholder engagement plans to gather data, develop and share medical insights that contribute to enhancement of Sanofi’s key medical messages and future researches.
• Recognize and record insights that deepen our understanding of the needs of patients with Diabetes mellitus, and identifies unmet needs in Diabetes diagnostics and treatment.
• Uses strong knowledge of Diabetes mellitus, healthcare environment and competitors to articulate the medical and scientific value of Diabetes products.
• Establishes robust, long-term peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholder partners.
• Organizes educational meetings or local scientific advisory boards when requested.
• Maintain awareness of and assesses emerging evidence in Diabetes mellitus to educate and enhance discussions with key stakeholders.
• Co-designs and implements specific KOL action plans, e.g., Advisory boards, Expert Meetings, Steering Committees, development of Guidelines, etc.
• KOLs presentations checking and approval.
• Collaboration with Internal partners (business and marketing departments).
• Scientific Medical content analysis and creation according to current medical needs and strategy.
• Scientific Medical Information providing to HCPs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Medical (scientific) background: Degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.

Context of the job/major challenges:

• Able to operate independently and navigate complex regulatory environments in person and via digital channels from remote environment.
• Possible substantial travel: nationally and internationally.
• Effectively mediate KOL's complex opinions.

Experience & knowledge:

• Previous experience at pharmaceutical field (understanding of health care system and of the regulatory, legal, and financial implications of the business).
• Previous clinical research experience is welcome.
• Demonstrated ability to address educational and research needs through delivery of evidenced based data.
• Understand the design and execution of research studies.
• Exemplary communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams and managing significant volume of projects
• Proficiency in digital tools
• English language on Upper Intermediate level; Ukrainian - fluent.
