We are looking for a Travel Accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinate with travel department for the accounting of accommodation, concierge services, transportation, entertainment, and venue booking.

· Ensure and check the validity of the invoices raised against the approval

· Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable.

· Checking the Credit Card Statement with the Invoice and Travel Billing records.

· Reconciliation of payments with the Final invoice and in case of any discrepancies of extra charges take up with Travel team for confirmation & bill to the Client.

· Accurate and timely accounting for all Travel and Hotac invoices, forwarding the trip sheet to billing team.

· Coordinating with Finance Officer for Billing of travel, accommodation, concierge services, transportation, entertainment & venue booking.

· Develop and maintain positive relationships with our suppliers.

· Research and resolve accounts payable issues with our suppliers

· Preparing ad hoc financial reporting request, other analysis and special projects as requested by management

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills (practiced capability/behaviors)

· Expert knowledge of accounts payable

· Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles

· Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

· Excellent standard of written and spoken English, Ukrainian and Russian

Experience

· He/she must have at least 2 years' experience working in a travel environment

· Proven experience in well know travel agency.

· Experience in Airline Ticketing and booking.

· Outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets

Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
