Fisher Clinical Services LLC is a business within CTD EMEA Group, which offers Storage, Distributing and secondary packaging services for Clinical trials business serving for European and Russian market.

With a keen understanding of laws, regulations and compliance as well as reporting requirements consistent with USGAAP, our Accounting and Controllership teams leverage innovative financial systems and controls, data security and robust processes to protect the company’s assets and support it’s short- and long-term growth on a global scale. From technical accounting to budgeting and forecasting to planning and reporting, you will build relationships with internal and external audit teams as well as key business partners to drive complex business decisions. You will have an opportunity to build strong organizational alliances to understand and mitigate risk, as well as capture opportunities and provide value-added support to all business stakeholder.

Seeking a proficient finance team member who will provide finance, accounting and compliance to the CTD business. The successful candidate will execute accounting, controls and compliance procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, consistent with USGAAP and local reporting requirements. In addition, the position holder will identify and recommend operational improvement opportunities, and support leadership in achieving of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• To perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reporting and analysis according US GAAP and Russian accounting standards in CODA, HFM and 1C:Enterprise
• Payroll and Payroll Taxes calculation, preparation of statutory Social taxes reports and submission it to the Tax authorities, Social Insurance and Pension funds.
• Supports internal and external audit requirements, participation in annual statutory audit based on Russian accounting standards.
• Exercise sound data stewardship - following data policies (retention, privacy, security) and detailing procedures
• Drive continuous improvement and utilizes systems to increase controls and efficiencies
• Ensure effective data security and controls within ERP, financial systems, and data flows
• Other ad-hoc duties as required and/or assigned
• Provide backup to support other accounting duties when necessary

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required
• Accounting qualification is a must
• Minimum of 4+ years of finance and accounting experience
• Excellent understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
• Ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and strong finance acuity
• Solid understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis), 1C:Enterprise, PowerPoint, and Hyperion is desired
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Takes personal accountability for decisions and actions
• Challenges the status quo. Introduces and proactively seeks out new insights and solutions to strengthen our performance.
• Flexibility to work as required at busy times such as month-end, statutory quarter end, annual reporting period
• Fluent English
• Less than 25% domestic/international travel required
