The Embassy of Finland in Kyiv is looking for a Commercial Officer to work as a member of the Embassy’s commercial team.

As a Commercial Officer, you will:

Serve the Finnish companies? requests on the Ukrainian market – market advise, door-opening and daily requests;
Coordinate and arrange trade promotion visits, trips and events;
Monitor and analyze the Ukrainian economy, trade policies and business environment;
Participate in the Embassy’s public diplomacy, networking and promoting Finland together with the Embassy’s team, Business Finland, Visit Finland etc.;
Promote world leading Finnish know how and solutions in the areas like Circular Economy, Renewable Energies and Digitalization to the relevant stakeholders – government and regional agencies, local businesses and international financial institutions.

To succeed in the role, you have:

Higher academic education (Master / Doctoral degree / MBA) in a suitable subject (Economics, International Business or relevant subject);
Proven track record (min. 3 years), preferably both in the private sector and in trade / business promotion;
Understanding of and ability to contact and build networks with Ukrainian public institutions;
Fluency in English, in Ukrainian and in relevant tools (MS Office);
Independent can-do attitude to your work, overall honesty and self-discipline;
Curious mind and willingness to learn.

Monthly gross pay equivalent of EUR 2 000 + health insurance and a contract under the Ukrainian Labor Law;
