Qualifications: Recognized higher engineering qualification.
Minimum 10 years Oil/Gas or Petrochemical capital projects experience, with at least 5 years onsite construction experience. Hands-on user of Primavera P6 planning software for schedule development, resourcing and bespoke report/ graphics generation.
Write and speak in a clear and convincing manner, using appropriate language
Work well with all levels of contractor work force and integrated project management team
Self-starting behavior and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop and maintain detailed construction master Level 3 schedules using critical path network format with discipline resource allocations, and co-ordinate with Construction execution team.
• Use the project approved Work Breakdown Structure, CWP and Schedule Hierarchy and approved Project Control Procedures together with the Primavera P6 software package to create well-structured schedule report formats to inform management of forward plans, current forecasts and status.
• Maintains project control means in order to keep projects and compares their actual and planned data included into approved project baseline plans. Compares and analyzes actual data (manhours, % complete) with baseline data to communicate recommendations to the construction execution team.
• Check, Coordinate and audit schedule content from multiple contractors and incorporate the information gathered into the construction master schedule. Confirm that critical paths are realistic and highlight problem areas with recommended remedial actions
• Monitor, assess and forecast progress of activities of interfaces and construction contractors’ work.
• Prepare plan/actual/ forecast progress curves, histograms, tabulations and other schedule graphics.
• Active Participation in the weekly/ monthly progress meetings.
• Prepare/ collate weekly and monthly construction progress reports with deviation analysis for input into overall project status reports for management and partners.
• Assist construction team in developing alternative execution strategies for critical work areas to resolve problems before or during execution.
• Develop, empower and mentor Kazakh national planning staff in all aspects of construction planning and schedule management.
• Will lead a team of local planners for this area to support the weekly construction reporting requirements, coordination of the subcontractor schedules.
Must be familiar with:
• RoK Labour Code
• RoK statutes and regulations applicable to this job
• FGP-WPMP Project Execution Plan
• FGP-WPMP Construction Execution Plans and Procedures
• Safety, occupational sanitation & hygiene, fire safety standards and regulations;
• Employment Agreement
Must have the skills to:
• System; Primavera Planning system, P6
• Organization Processes: Work team management methodology, Contracting Strategy.
