Senior C Developer [Remote]

CloudLinux, the worldwide leader in the development of the Linux operating system for web hostings, with a large number of customers all around the world, is looking for a Senior C Engineer with strong experience in web-server module development / understanding of the web-server architecture and related technologies (nginx/apache/litespeed), and will join the I360-C-Team.

We develop our products - CloudLinux OS, KernelCare, and Imunify360 - using the most innovative technologies. Our products are used by thousands of companies around the world.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the development of web-server modules: Nginx (required), Apache/OpenLiteSpeed (desirable) and understanding of the web-server architecture and workflow.
• 5+ years of С programming experience
• GNU/Linux operating system and shell scripting experience
• Ability to work with various build systems like autotools, make and cmake
• Experience with git-based development processes
• Python, Perl or other scripting language knowledge will be a plus
• Golang and LUA language knowledge will be a plus
• Experience in debugging(mostly gdb and command line)

You will do:

• Design and development of Nginx-modules and other security extensions for a web-hosting security product,
• Work with various open-source and proprietary projects such as Nginx, OpenSSL, OpenSSH, Apache, OpenLiteSpeed and others,
• Implement modules integrations
