METKA EGN intends to construct a 50MW solar photovoltaic plant in the area of Burnoye, Kazakhstan and is seeking to hire locally an Assistant Project Manager that will incorporate in the team and will work towards the successful completion of the project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields.
• Proven track record of 5+ years of solar project management experience, including ground mount projects over 10 MW.
• Electrical Licensing strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability.
• Self-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details and accuracy.
• Self-disciplined and result-oriented.
• Fluent in English is a prerequisite.
• Flexibility to travel to the project site.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the and Report to Project Manager & Project Director
• Manages the project in schedule as agreed before start of the project.
• Schedules the overall job with all functions and across all activities between functions, removing obstacles.
• Supervision and co-ordination of all disciplines for the efficient and safe work output during Project work.
• Establishes processes for systems and communication lines on site and ensure implementation is consistent.
• Performs quality control checks to ensure processes are implemented according to the plan.
• Communications to include: email interactions, site reports, meetings and teleconferences as needed.
• Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV project.
• Create and distribute RFQs
• Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with vendors, and oversee all subcontractors’ work in all phases.
• Fully Supports the logistics department.
• Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success.
