Preparation of works: water and sewage pipes laying, electromechanical and civil works

- Prepare the planning of execution of the works with the contractors and the logistics officers for the provision of material and equipments

Responsabilities:

(i) To carry out site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with the contract specification and drawings, current national legislation, standards and policy.
(ii) Under the guidance of the engineers, instruct and advise contractors on site, on matters related to daily performance, quality control, and the interpretation of contracts documents. Find ways with the contractor to remediate delays and problems.
(iii) To attend site meetings.
(iv) To report to the engineer
(v) Undertake Health and Safety monitoring on site.
(vi) Prepare reports on progress, site activities and all other related issues.
(vii) Ensure compliance to all agreed decisions made at site and project meetings.
(viii) To undertake any necessary measurement, testing and record keeping as deemed relevant and to also keep records of the amount of work performed and the materials used so that proper payment can be made.
(ix) To use measuring devices and test equipment, take photographs, keep a daily log.
(x) To write weekly reports on the progress of the construction project and report immediately to the engineer any deviation observed against the original design or any modifications agreed during site meetings.
(xi) To carry out any other specific reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall scope of the project and as directed by the engineer.

(xii) To check the accuracy of acts of acceptance (AoA) prepared by the contractor and modify these AoA with the contractor if necessary
(xiii) To liaise with public authorities and utilities for any permit or coordination needed
(xiv) To transfer the works done to SUVOKOVA, together with the engineers dedicated to the project
The supervisors will be placed under the responsibility of the engineers of the project.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in civil works or electromechanical works or equivalent experience

5 years’ experience in a similar position

Common sense and rigor

Ability to use planning tools and calculation tables

Command of Uzbek and Russian are mandatory. English will be appreciated.
