Tecnimont is responsible for the implementation of Utilities, Infrastructure & Offsite Facilities for one of the three packages of the Amurski Gas Processing Plant Project, in the Amur region, located in East Russia.

Technical translator Interprets written or spoken material into one or more other languages, ensures meaning and context are maintained, creates glossaries or term dictionaries, possesses knowledge of multiple languages.

Responsibilities:

• Compile information, such as technical terms used in oil&gas/construction settings, into glossaries and terminology databases to be used in translations;
• Reads through or listens to material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning;
• Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialised concepts and translate them appropriately;
• Uses highly specialised translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency’
• Adheres to industry quality standards to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligations;
• Translates a variety of documents including literary, research, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials.

Qualification:

• University degree

Requirements:

• Russian speaker;
• Fluent English;
• Excelent IT and analytical skills;
• Good organizational skills and accuracy;
• Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution;
• Attention to detail, strong communications and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Relevant experience in EPC project, Large/XL Gas processing plants;
• Ability to instantly comprehend and convert one language into another;
• Specialisation in Oil&Gas, Construction industry;
• Similar role covered at least in last three projects, of comparable size.
