Responsibilities:

• Support of Project Teams with settlement of all contractual disputes and raising their awareness for the Main Contract conditions
• Coordination with legal advisors in litigation
• Develops, monitors, and maintains project master contracts forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions to be included in the project purchase order/subcontract documents.
• Ensure that within the framework of the Main Contract, qualified Seller(s)/Subcontractor(s) are selected for furnishing of subcontractor services and who meet project specifications, cost, quality and schedule requirements
• Engagement of subcontractors to provide services contributing to the successful completion of the project.
• Effective subcontract management from Bid to Closeout stage; implementation of the project’s subcontract management procedures
• Ensuring consistency of the Subcontract Documents;
• Interface with Construction, Engineering, and Technical Office team members to raise awareness of subcontract provisions, compliance with subcontract terms and conditions, and to identify opportunities for Project savings and avoidance of claims
• Participating with commitment approvals ensuring commitments are made in accordance with corporate and project policies and procedures
• Administration of the Change Process as it relates to assigned Subcontracts including: providing support for the preparation and negotiation of changes to subcontracts
• Coordinate the review and approval of subcontractor progress payments; actively interrogate subcontractor payment requests for entitlement issues.
• Takes part in negotiations for the resolution of commercial conditions of purchase orders/subcontracts when such action is agreed as necessary by the designated supervisor.

Requirements:

• University degree in Law (Masters degree will be a plus),
• Excellent command of English and German or Turkish will be an asset,
• 4-6 years of corporate legal experience in an international construction firm,
• Excellent knowledge of the law in the field of contract law, corporate law and civil law, tax and financial law, norms of procedural legislation of the Russian Federation,
• Strong ability to coordinate projects with multiple internal and external contacts at national and international levels,
• Decision making and planning ability, capable of handling and solving both project related and organizational problems and sound personality
