JOB MISSION:
Drive assigned group of Suppliers (Suppliers Package) towards Operational Excellence by developing their ability to deliver quality parts and services, through the application of effective preventive and problem solving techniques, as well as ensuring flawless launch of new products through appropriate quality planning.

MAIN ACTIVITY
? Existing Products Improvement
? Monitor ongoing quality performances of Suppliers Package, by using SAP and IT applications
? Take full leadership of Suppliers Package, managing and assessing the quality improvement plan and serving as quality single contact point between Supplier and Whirlpool. When needed, lead cross functional teams to ensure effective problem solutions
? Define Focus Suppliers and work with them by utilizing adequate problem solving techniques to develop Corrective Action Plans
? Support internal analysis of defective components returned from the field and joint analysis at Suppliers’ premises, where appropriate
? Work with right speed and priority to resolve significant / epidemic quality issues caused by defective components on the market (Failure 2 Solution projects)
? Support Manufacturing Quality in case of defects caused by components in Zero Hour Test and Reliability Lab (“A” Defects)

? New Product Introduction
? Lead PIQ projects ensuring timely progress of the activities and discipline from Suppliers’ side. Work closely with Supplier as well as internal functions to ensure effectiveness of the activities and appropriate escalation and resolution of potential issues
? Validate Organization and Production Processes to produce in quality the new product.
? Verify their readiness for mass production
? Ensure positive completion of PPAP, as well as quality performances in first months of mass production

? New Sources Qualification / Suppliers Development
? In alignment with Purchasing strategy qualify new potential sources or develop capabilities of existing Suppliers according to Whirlpool Quality standards
? Coach and develop Suppliers’ skills and/or ask them to improve asking third party support their knowledge on quality tools as FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP, etc, as well as Whirlpool Quality process and requirements

REQUIREMENTS

? Technical high education
? Medium-high level of English
? Knowledge of Windows Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
? Knowledge of Quality Management System; Company’s Quality Standards, ISO 9001
? Understanding European Quality norms, ROHS, REACH procedures
? Working experience in production processes or quality as an internal/external audit (customers, suppliers, any kind of…)
