The TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNT Manager is a people leader, developing and managing a high-performing team of TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNTs. The TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNT Manager is a coach who leads by example and takes personal accountability for driving superior sales execution and operational discipline into the business. The TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNT Manager holds TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNTs accountable for delivering on expectations, including portfolio-based forecast accuracy, pipeline generation & management and consumption. The TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNT Manager ensures his/her team of TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNTs are scaling thru Partner Sellers (P-SSPs) to execute with CA field sellers across the customer lifecycle, driving scale and yield with Microsoft cloud based services.

The Impact You’ll Be Making:

As a Partner Sales Manager you will take personal accountability for driving superior sales execution and operational discipline, leading and challenging your team-members and business Partners to drive accelerated business growth. You will build plans with partners that identify solution gaps and capitalize on transformational shifts in the market. You will be disciplined in how you manage and run the business with a culture of accountability and meeting sales targets. You will be an Influencer and crafter of Partner programs and incentives to accelerate the business of Microsoft cloud, mobile first solutions.

Some of the key actions for the TERRITORY PARTNER ACCOUNT Manager include:

  • Be an ambitious planner and active business network Influencer:
  • Internalize Microsoft strategy and immerse oneself in Market research, trends and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Account teams through Planning to learn about solution needs and gaps.
  • Be a Sales Challenger coach, leading with insights to re-frame thinking:
  • Have a sales challenger mentality, coaching Partners to invest in building Microsoft Cloud practices.
  • Be a strong collaborator and builder of internal and partner relationships required to ensure success.
  • Manage the business with rigor and discipline always meeting sales targets and scorecard KPI’s.
  • Be an Influencer in the development of global and local channel programs and incentives:
  • Act as the Voice of the Partner across Microsoft sharing partner GTM, offerings and partner success stories
  • Align Partners with programs and segments to maximize business impact.
  • Be an inspirational leader, engaged coach and smart hiring manager:
  • Build a high-performing team, and establish a culture of growth and development.
  • Prioritize people’s development and coach to an “excellence in role” blueprint.
  • Coach team with an approach that promotes a sense of “Deeply cares about me and my future.”

Professional:

  • Experienced Sales Leader with 10+ years of demonstrated Industry experience in Partner and Sales Management. Self-directed, strong business acumen and analytical/ forecasting skills
  • People Leader with demonstrated ability to coach and inspire a diverse team of partner sellers.
  • Challenger mindset and adept at challenging perspectives with new ideas that reframes thinking about the value of Microsoft solutions. Understanding of cloud and enterprise licensing sales and solutions
  • Excellent Collaborator. Builds strong relationships and leadership connections to ensure success. Strategic Thinking & Strategy Development, Teamwork (includes Field engagement and collaboration), Drive for results, Impact and influence, Organizational Agility, Problem Solving
  • Very strong presentation, white boarding and communication skills.
  • Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations.
  • Combination of Partner and Industry expertise to lead the transformation of the Microsoft partner eco-system to enable accelerated business in the Cloud.
  • Technical Proficiency in the core capabilities, value proposition and competitive differentiation of Microsoft Business
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of managing virtual teams across a subsidiary’s matrix structure - for example, Public

    Sector, DPE, Incubation, Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG) and Small Medium Solutions & Partners (SMSP) virtual teams – and will display the following characteristics:

    • Very inclusive behaviors - driving teamwork and cross team alignment
    • Strong negotiation skills

Education:

  • BA/BS in Sales, Business, Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
  • MBA preferred
  • Technical Certification preferred
  • Business and Solution Selling training preferred
