Due to team expansion, OnePoint is looking for a .Net developer who is keen to learn and get exposure to a range of technologies, while working on an bookmaking industry leading platform, and has a passion for writing quality and testable code.

About the project:

Working in close collaboration with our partner in Europe (Spain and Switzerland). The team will be working on a terminal platform that will facilitate the running of application that sell wagers. The platform is responsible for managing the terminal cash handling, supporting devices (hardware abstraction layer (HAL)) and supporting different configuration modes such as offline and connected modes which involve different business logic.

At the start of the project 2 senior developers will be working on the arthitecture redesing proposal and making all the technical decisions to improve current implementation.

What we’re looking for:

• An understanding and demonstrable experience of C#/.net and network based development;
• Proven record in developing scalable, highly-available and highly-performing middle-tier components;
• Experience in developing HTTP-based APIs and implementation of RESTful services with JSON;
• Understanding of multithreading development and its challenges;
• Proven ability in delivering fully-tested software iteratively and continuously;
• Requires strong experience with multi-threaded/parallel processing applications and embedded software development
• Good understanding of general software principles and product life cycle
• Experience delivering technical presentations and articulating use-cases and solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills would be a plus
• Having Machine control and calibration software experience would be an advantage
• You enjoy autonomy and responsibility;
• Ability to hold a conversation in English.
