Job Accountabilities:

Agreements & Contracts

• Co-ordinate, optimise, negotiate and communicate maintenance requirements with JV and downstream operations to assist optimisation of system activities.
• Collate Force Majeur information on behalf of JV commercial teams to support and issue FM claims.
• Ensure correct tools are in place and up to date to manage system capacity restrictions for Capacity Bookings ? Resolve disputes with JV partners.
• Manage Joint Venture partner relationships within Agreements.
• Assessing existing JV arrangements, monitoring compliance and identifying value adding opportunities.
• Focal point for a suite of existing Agreements providing expert advice to Operations personnel and acting as interface with all relevant Third Parties
• Monitor performance in order to ensure we meet all our contractual obligations under the Agreements. ? Providing advice upon relevant liabilities and indemnities Commercial

• Main Interfaces (internal and external):

  Internal

  Interface within the integrated Production Operations Directorate (Operations and Technical – e.g. IAP/IPP, WRM, HPIM, Dispatching, Programming, Maintenance, HSE, RTO, metering) as well as (and not limited to) Technical directorate including Corporate and Pipeline Technical Authorities.

  External

  JV partners and nominated transportation agents, third party pipeline operators, Client and RoK authorities via the relevant company departments.

  Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any relevant field
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in commercial, oil and gas industry or transportation company, experience to have included:
• Exposure to operations and/or project experience.
• Managing forecasting, nominations and messaging processes
• Business development experience, both in opportunity identification and project delivery ? Commercial or negotiating experience or handling of commercial agreements.
• Previous experience in interfacing with third party pipeline operators in Caspian area would be an advantage ? Previous commercial or negotiating experience or handling commercial agreements will be an advantage ? Experience in working in the former Soviet Union or a Caspian region country is an advantage.

• Required Competences:

• Working experience in part of, or the entire, Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front line oil and gas production operations is desirable. ? A HSSE driven mindset
• Good communication skills are essential
• The competencies defined below are desirable as a minimum, although shortfalls are acceptable if demonstrated strengths in above requirements and/or other areas are made apparent.
• Ability to work in team environments – communicates, understands and work with the dynamics of a multi-functional, multi-cultural and multi-location environment, work co-operatively with others.
• Understanding of complex operational issues and possess the ability to promote them (within a Project or Operational environment) to the appropriate level of Management
• A high degree of self motivation capable of setting and delivering work scope against planned deadlines. ? Fluent written and spoken English, including a good understanding of technical English
• Fluent in Russian both spoken and written.
• Understanding of Production Excellence, interpersonal, team working and influencing skills.
• Ability to analyse and present complex data, structures and processes in a concise manner.
• Excellent understanding of production processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
• Interpersonal, team working, communicating and influencing skills ? Strong drive to deliver results.
• Good delivery and performance track record.
• Ability to work effectively within multi discipline, multinational teams and to lead projects and activities with no direct line accountability.
