IKEA Centres develops and manages retail destinations for the many people, anchored by IKEA stores. Our global portfolio includes 40 shopping centres and 25 retail parks that together attract more than 400 million visitors per year in 14 countries in Europe and Asia.

We are looking for a self-organized and pro-active professional to be a Credit Control Specialist in Billing & Credit Control Department!

At this position we expect you to prevent risks and decrease of the debts in the Account Receivable part.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in negotiations with Lease Managers and tenants regarding the further debt payment scheme upon request on Lease Manager;
• Initiate and control over Bank Guarantee Threat procedure;
• Prepare Credit Risk report for Credit Control Committee monthly;
• Prepare report of Balances on expired/terminated agreements monthly;
• Prepare electricity cut-off list and follow up the process;
• Provide necessary information for payment reallocations on Security Deposits and invoices;
• Control and follow-up debts on Speciality Leasing agreements;
• Participate in Finance Action Plan projects;
• Provide support and back up for other Credit Control Specialists and for Credit Control Senior Specialist;
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager and special projects as defined in action plans;
• Manage relation with Tenants in respect of decrease delaying payments, including receipt and follow up of Guarantee letters on payments;
• Support Leasing Function with debt history on tenant for proper negotiations with tenants.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Finance & Credit or Accounting;
• Accounting knowledge;
• 3 year experience in in relevant function Accounting and Finance area;
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point);
• Intermediate level of English (both written and spoken);
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to take responsibility and be proactive;
• Ability to convince and influence people
• Ability to build partner relationship with other units, external counterparts;
• Ability to manage in a high volume, fast paced and changing environment.
