Deloitte is seeking an Intern to join the Deloitte Blockchain Lab (Innovation Group) within the Consulting department at the Moscow office.

Join the innovation wave with Deloitte Blockchain Lab as it develops the concepts and prototypes of solutions based on distributed ledger technology. You will contribute to analysing and designing distributed processes and lead the efforts to develop decentralised applications based on advanced blockchain platforms across various industries and business systems.

The role will involve:

• Provide support throughout the solution development cycle, including:

- Participating in developing concepts and architecture of decentralised applications based on various blockchain platforms

- Preparing technical specifications for developers

- Leading the team of front-end and back-end developers

- Planning, tasking, progress monitoring and quality assurance with respect to technology solutions and their implementation

- Designing interfaces with distributed applications

- Developing and testing smart contracts

- Deploying private and public blockchain networks

• Acting as a technical expert with respect to product design, release and support
• Acting independently to select the most appropriate architecture and functionality for blockchain applications; providing substantiation for the choice made
• Interacting with project teams on the matters related to the development of decentralised applications by preparing solution requirements and architecture
• Generate and maintain a database with best practices in blockchain development

Requirements:

• University degree (or pursuing an undergraduate degree), preferably in Information Technology Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or engineering from a leading university.
• Quick and eager learner driven to learn new technologies and, particularly, blockchain
• Strong knowledge of concepts of blockchain and similar technology, their functioning and advantages
• Strong knowledge of various consensus mechanisms for decentralised databases
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience as a project team architect or lead developer
• 0-1 year coding experience with any of these programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Scala, C/C++, C#, Gosu, Ruby
• 0-1 year experience as a full stack developer
• Ability to provide a clear and transparent account of technical aspects before both professional and non-professional audiences
• Fluent reader of technical documentation in English
• All candidates must have full travel mobility to serve national and international clients and the right to live and work in Russian Federation

This would be a plus:

• Higher engineering education (computer science, math, physics, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of and strong experience in developing blockchain applications based on Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda and similar solutions
• Experience in writing smart contracts
• Experience in POC and MVP projects
• Experience with Solidity-based development projects
• A GitHub profile with relevant projects
