Our Client, IKEA, a well-known international retail company, is announcing an opening for the position of Web Editor.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Web Editor is responsible for strengthening the image of the IKEA brand as a leading home furnishing company among online audiences by communicating the IKEA Concept, Corporate culture and the IKEA offer through the corporate website and online medium and making IKEA website the preferred online source for home furnishing planning on the internet.

Main responsibilities:

• maintaining the IKEA website and mobile applications by ensuring that all functionalities are implemented effectively to secure online performance and operations;
• collaborating with different stakeholders and functions to create or receive plans and identify needs for content updates;
• working with and organizing content assets;
• receiving and reviewing content assets, creating pages and publishing;
• managing the translation and localization process, together with the translation department and agencies;
• optimizing the content, editorial process and efficiency;
• creating new content and lead content adaptation, based on commercial and identified additional local needs;
• working closely with merchandising, being familiar with SEO and digital performance functions;
• updating the IKEA applications on a regular basis and taking care of their functionality.

Main requirements:

• work experience in the field of website development, online media optimization and/or digital media communication;
• computer literacy;
• knowledge of HTML, CSS and Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator;
• knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML will be considered as a plus;
• ability to think creatively and strategically, to set priorities and maintain the deadlines;
• customer-oriented attitude;
• excellent English and Ukrainian languages skills, both spoken and written;
• readiness to relocate abroad.
