IKEA Centres develops and manages retail destinations for the many people, anchored by IKEA stores. Our global portfolio includes 40 shopping centres and 25 retail parks that together attract more than 400 million visitors per year in 14 countries in Europe and Asia.

We are looking for a passionate, leading, business minded and project delivery oriented professional to work as Property Development Navigator for Business Navigation Department.

At this position, we expect you to navigate Property Investment projects towards the company strategies, goals and KPIs by striving to reach set goals and optimize Project profitability, benchmark and identify opportunities that have impact on project results (time, money, quality) and escalate them to Project steering teams in order to continuously improve.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of design development within specific Project during all design stages (Stage PD design, Working design and As-built documentation);
• Control (with involvement of internal engineers and/ or external consulants) of design executed by external design companies;
• Manage design control team (internal technical specialists and/ or external consultants – masterplan, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical, BMS, fire safety engineers), organize proper and effective time and resource planning;
• Organize and coordinate preparation of Design breifs, Technical Tasks and Employer’s requirements for all specializations and for all design stages (Area Masterplan Design, Concept design, Stage PD design, Working design);
• Participate in preparation of contracts for design works, procurement of design companies and external consultants;
• Manage all design reviews and approvals internally and with third party validation;
• Safeguard IKEA SCR construction/technical/design requirements in all stages of design development;
• Safeguard Russian Federation, regional and local construction/technical/design requirements in all stages of design development;
• Monitor design progress in respect to Time Scedule;
• Participate in meetings with Authorities if required;
• Coordinate process of State or Non-State Expertize revirew in order to obtain State or Non-State Expertize positive conclusion;
• Coordinate author supervision during construction phase.

Requirements:

• Completed University degree – BSc Architecture and/or Engineering or similar;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position;
• Proven experience of managing teams (more than 5 subordinates);
• Good knowledge of Russian and European construction norms and standards;
• Fluent English and Russian language skills;
• Good computer literacy: Ms Office, Ms Outlook, AutoCAD;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing environment;
• Analytical skills, both strategic and technical thinking;
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Working schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00-18:00;
