The Gist:

As SEM Manager you will have the complete ownership of the organic traffic funnel: from a website visitor to a qualified lead.

Responsibilities and KPIs:

• Increase qualified traffic to Easy Projects website by designing and executing content strategy (website topic pages, blog posts, etc);

• Increase number of qualified leads by optimizing all stages of the website funnel;

• Complete ownership of website analytics;

• Management of back- and referral links;

• Traffic generation through YouTube channel;

• Full ownership of website technical SEO (keywords, semantic core, performance).

• KPIs:

  • Number of target visitors;

  • Bounce rate;

  • Average time per session;

  • Conversation rate;

  • Number of MQLs and SQLs;

  • Pipeline contribution.

Must-haves:

• Advanced or Fluent English (you can practice it daily making fun of your Canadian colleagues);

• Being metric driven – you rely on your intuition but only trust in A/B tests;

• A solid (at least 2 years) previous SEM experience promoting IT products will definitely put your resume at the top of the list;

• Great copywriting skills is kind of a big deal for us (power hint: cover letter). You should know how to write for people, not robots;

• Being able to multitask is super important for this role (as you'll have 10 important tasks on your plate that all need to get done);

• If Google Analytics was a martial art, you’d be a second degree black belt;

• Being creative – we need you to outsmart our competition;

• Be able to work well independently and as part of a team (not being a jerk is one of our company’s values);

• Hands-on experience with project management software and/or strong exposure to project management practices: Agile, Critical Path, Gantt chart should not cause too many Wikipedia tabs in your browser.
