WHO WE ARE

We are a 700-employee IT company headquartered in the US (Dallas area) having an office in Minsk. We have been in IT business for 31 years and continue growing.
Our writing team consists of 10+ copywriters and 2 editors. Our web traffic grows and currently amounts to 10,000 US visitors per month.

Our ideal candidates are:

Experienced copywriters writing in English. At ScienceSoft, we write to be read and more than 50% of our 10,000 monthly US visitors do read our articles. Let’s put it straight: you will not be tasked to write tons of bullshit. You will be writing thoughtful texts. As soon as you start working quite independently, 50% of the articles will be published under your name.
Translators with substantial experience of translating from Russian into English. 30% of our copywriters were translators from Russian into English before joining us.
Talented 4-5-year students majoring in English. We have 4 success stories when talented MSLU students became proficient copywriters in 6 months.
IT experience is not required. We allocate part of the working time for gaining the needed knowledge and support learning with training materials and personal guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full-time job in the office.
You will write english texts (articles, case studies, news, service descriptions) for the US readers on the intersection of business and IT. Some of your articles will be published on topic-leading sites with 50,000 to 500,000 monthly visitors.

Writing process:

Elicit facts from in-house technical experts and external sources.
Write problem-oriented articles, service descriptions, press releases, case studies, white papers, etc; follow guidelines to ensure consistency with brand and product positioning.
Get your texts edited by dedicated editors.
Publish content on our website and in social media.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate an idea as a text.
Informative, logical, fact-based style that builds trust and stimulates interest at the same time.
Fluent in written English.
