Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior position in Tax Practice for our Minsk office on a full-time basis. Our Tax team offers broad expertise in tax and customs areas across the region focusing on compliant tax planning, including tax incentives for digital business, tax disputes and lobbying tax law amendments.

We are looking for a mature professional lawyer who will play the central role in enlarging and maintaining the clientele, effectively manage the team.

Candidate Profile:

• 4+ years' experience spanning advisory and transactional/project tax work gained within a leading business law firm, in-house or at a relevant regulatory body.
• Degree in Economics (relevant course programmes e.g. in economics, accounting) in addition to the Law degree or vice versa education combination is welcome
• Client-orientated approach – both internally and externally backed with commercial awareness
• Ability to think outside the box and develop ideas in relation to business opportunities and trainings for the Tax team and its members; keep up with OECD and EU developments as well as wider international trends
• Pro-active and motivated self-starter with excellent organisational skills; flexible and having strong attention to detail
• Ability to be team-focused and also work independently
• Fluent English (would be a plus)
