The opportunity

Our Treasury & Commodities team at PwC is looking for Consultants/Senior Consultants/Assistant Managers to join them to handle their growing portfolio of clients and projects which include financial risks management and modelling (Commodities, Interest, FX, Credit, Liquidity, credit rating), working capital optimisation, financial due diligence, operating models design and implementation, Treasury & CTRM systems, enhancing operational effectiveness, governance, processes & controls and reporting.

Our projects include, among others:

• Advice on operating model, financial risk management, and hedging strategies;
• Advice on working capital improvement
• Transformation and benchmarking projects for treasury and trading operations;
• Advice on Cash and liquidity management;
• Technical accounting advice on financial instruments;
• Reviews of governance, compliance, reporting, processes & controls; and systems

Successful candidates profile

Knowledge and technical skills:

• 2-4 years of working experience within a finance function (including treasury and corporate finance)/finance consulting/banking / financial due diligence
• Good understanding of the following processes: cash forecasting, credit control, financial risk management, order to cash process
• Experience in modeling and financial statements analysis;
• Understanding of working capital management would be a strong advantage
• Experience in financial due diligence would be a plus

Soft skills:

• Strong communication skills;
• Strong project management skills;
• Strong analytical skills, ability and eagerness to deal with complex financial issues;
• Ability to operate in multitask environment

Other requirements:

• Basic understanding of financial instruments and markets and desire to enhance your knowledge in this field;
• Desire to work and grow professionally in area of Treasury and financial risk management
