Maya Gold Trading is an organic food product trading company in the heart of Amsterdam. We are specialized in sourcing the highest quality organic products from around the world.

Maya Gold Trading is an importer and packer/filler of organic food like coconut oil, coconut sugar, coconut syrup, hemp seeds, chia seeds, agave syrup and more. We are an international team and purchase raw materials from various origins across the world, like Sri Lanka, Mexico, Indonesia, China and The Philippines. The company also exports to over 15 European countries and has employees from different cultural backgrounds.

The business has three business units:

• Bulk ingredients trading (buying and selling un-differentiated bulk ingredients for industrial food production). This comes in packaging above 25kg Typically in 1000kg or 1000l containers.
• Private label supply for ready to retail finished products (below 1.5kg) Normally the size of bottle, jar or pouch is 250g to 500g
• Maya Gold Retail Brand (The distribution of our own organic food brand, we have 50+ items specializing in coconut, agave, hemp).

What we look for in the person

The person has to command the English language at a business level in both speaking and writing. We look for sales reps that are confident and persistent. The main task is to generate leads (potential buyers), study the client and their core business, find out who is the responsible contact person is, get their attention, determine needs, send quote, send samples, negotiate and close deals.

The focus of the job is to sell to companies that we have never sold to anything before. Also companies which have not purchased anything from maya gold in the past 18 months.

The Amsterdam office will train you and assist you with real time prices, stock availability and production planning. Samples, Invoicing, Account Receivables and checking incoming payments will be done by the Amsterdam office.

• Lead Scoring / Prospecting / Generating new opportunities
• Qualifying Leads
• Sparking Interest
• Cold Calling
• Cold Emailing
• Making spot offers
• Making contract offers
• Find organic food factories/ retailers / traders / importers / distributors / wholesalers

Requirements

• Language: English (good pronunciation, good writing skills). Additional lenguage would be a benefit.
• Bachelor Diploma University
• Experience 1+ years
• Confident and pro-active
• Business understanding
• Results oriented
