KORKUNOV® is a leading brand in Russian chocolate market (ranks in Top 10 biggest brands) and a top priority in Mars Chocolate Russia portfolio. Within the status of a Regional Jewel, KORKUNOV® brand development is a local brand team responsibility - including developing and deploying Brand vision and strategy, generating growth plans/activity pipeline, developing portfolio and communication.
Senior Brand Manager KORKUNOV® is responsible for identifying opportunities for brand portfolio development and designing innovation platforms and new propositions on the basis of consumer and customer insights, with full responsibility for product development, communication development and market activation, in-line with overall brand strategy and financial targets.
Under the guidance and with alignment from Portfolio Director, KORKUNOV® Senior Brand Manager’s role is to maximize brand contribution and continuously improve overall value of the company while being day-to-day voice of his/ her brand, customers and its consumers within the Corporation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for the brand to achieve target volume & value, market share and contribution objectives
- Prepare and gain approval for brand activity plans including product activities, brand communication, promotional programs and expenditures budgets.
- Initiate Marketing Research projects in order to identify, understand and monitor consumer needs and wants
- Initiate, lead and manage product activities under the assigned brands and in exploring new areas if appropriate
- Control brands P&L in the areas of product, packaging, price, advertising and other communications and recommend actions for improvement.
- Identify, gain approval and manage new product and / or brand development projects which will satisfy consumer needs.
- Provide recommendations on merchandising and display objectives and criteria to Trade Marketing function
- Contribute to identifying and programming long term vision for overall business development.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned if they are not in contradiction with this Role Profile
Requirements:
- University degree
- Postgraduate education is a plus
- 4-5 years experience in FMCG company with a strong marketing and sales oriented exposure
- Experience in all the elements of the marketing mix
- Fluent English
