Main Duties:

• Be the interface with the Customer quality and safety teams
• Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure the proper application during contract execution in accordance to the contract requirements, and to the Alstom processes
• Support the project teams and PM to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plans
• Support the project teams mainly the PM to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plans
• Report quality and safety alerts
• Ensure quality of the modifications made during the project
• Ensure that safety assessment is correctly implemented (i.e.: safety review) and prepare safety authorization.
• Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits - to authorize presentation / delivery to customer
• Ensure REX process within the project
• While locomotive maintenance operations ensures non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out prior to acceptance of the service and put a stamp and sign work orders.
• Provide expertise to operation team to avoid/resolve quality problems.
• Provide early warning of potential quality problems and ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed.
• Monitor in process and hold point Inspection on equipment and/or material during assembly in accordance with the standard.
• Send weekly & monthly report to WCA Deputy Quality Director.
• Perform audits for project departments and to shop floor cativities..
• Assist with Project Audits of suppliers.
• Undertake First Article Inspections at local suppliers.
• Provide Quality requirements for materials and tools.
• Support to implement QMS.

• Higher level of education from University or Technical Institute (Railway education preferable)
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years technical or equivalent position or 1 – 2 years in QA/QC position.
• (Desired) Knowledgeable of principles with maintenance of locomotives.
• Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,.) and quality tools
• Experience in operational activities and in documentation management
• Advanced familiarity with QC requirements for RoK and Maintenance Railway standards.
• Proficient computer skills particularly MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Problem solving ability and strong interpersonal skills
• Collaboration and team working,
• High level of knowledge of English language, required level – Advanced / C2.
• Use of computer tools: MS office mandatory
• Languages: Kazakh/Russian, English, mandatory.
